We do not intend to show or hunt but would like a dog that is true to breed. We are relying on AKC registration to avoid puppy mills and assure we get healthy, sound dog. She will be a family pet . We have selected a GSP for its friendly disposition with people and other dogs, intelligence and because we are a family of runners and hikers. Our neighborhood is crisscrossed by horse and hiking trails, She would run the trails with us like her predecessor who gave up running with us at age 11 and recently passed. Our previous dog also enjoyed the high Sierras and stood up to three season weather. We don't need a gun dog but prefer dogs bred for rugged outdoors rather than show. Can you help us find a dog?
